10 MW Gas Fired CHP Plant for UK Transport Provider

Team members at Padd Energy provided technical and commercial support for the feasibility and outline design of a new gas fired CHP plant to provide green power for the transport network and heat for a local neighbourhood district heating scheme.

Our services include:

An initial feasibility study was carried out, with included an assessment of electrical loads, steam demand and plant selection. This was followed by board approval and submitting of planning applications. Key to project was the financial assessment utilising discounted cash flows over a 20 year period, taking into account the projected increase in heat demand as the district heating network grows.
