Padd Energy is looking to recruit an exceptionally talented individual with experience in Energy Advisory Services/Technical Due Diligence to join our existing teams in Harrogate or Glasgow. This is a senior role to support the continued expansion of our portfolio of work around the world.
We operate globally within the energy sector and have a number of highly experienced technical engineers able to support thermal power/renewable energy related deals. We pride ourselves on adding value to our customers via our expertise and as such you will be expected to not only drive growth within the energy sector but to also identify value drivers for our clients throughout the process.
Our ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of how net zero drives global business best practice and will play a key role in delivering complex projects. In-depth knowledge of power/energy technologies is a pre-requisite, encompassing renewable energy generation assets, electricity and heat networks. Experience as owner’s engineer and/or expert witness within the energy sector would be a distinct advantage.
Candidate requirements
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Building Services or related disciplines;
- Technical specialist with a detailed understanding of the global energy system;
- Detailed knowledge of the design and application of a range of technologies including EfW, biomass, solar and wind and their integration in both utility-scale and decentralised power networks;
- Experience of advising clients in the delivery of Net Zero strategies, including the preparation of business cases and economic models and subsequently managing stakeholders through delivery and execution;
- Ability to co-ordinate technical specialists and manage cost, schedule and risk on multi-disciplinary consultancy projects;
- First-rate communication skills.
