District heating in South West England

Advising one of the largest electricity suppliers in Europe, director of PADD Energy, Chris Paddey led the design team in a technical authority role, on four ground-breaking residential district heating projects in the South of England. Each energy centre and residential development comprised 600-1200 apartments along with pioneering energy centres powered by biomass. Now complete, each development brings reduced energy bills to its residents and all the apartments will achieve a Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) rating level three.
