Padd Energy is recruiting for talented individuals to join our existing teams in Harrogate and Glasgow to support the continued expansion of our project portfolio across the UK and worldwide.
We operate along the full project life-cycle, from strategic planning, feasibility assessment, design delivery and technical quality assurance of projects and therefore candidates must be technical specialists in the UK power sector but with an appreciation of the wider global energy system. In-depth knowledge of power technologies is a pre-requisite, encompassing renewable energy generation assets, electricity and heat networks.
Candidate requirements:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or near-Chartered in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Building Services or related disciplines;
- Excellent track record in managing health, safety, environmental and quality risks on behalf of clients;
- Knowledge of the design and application of a range of technologies including EfW, biomass, solar and wind and their integration in both utility-scale and decentralised power networks;
- Experience of advising clients in the delivery of Net Zero strategies, including the preparation of business cases and economic models and subsequently managing stakeholders through delivery and execution;
- Ability to co-ordinate technical specialists and manage cost, schedule and risk on multi-disciplinary consultancy projects;
- First-rate communication skills.
