The plant is designed to provide the businesses neighbouring the site with heat and power via heat and private wire networks, allowing them to save costs associated with transmission, distribution and climate change levy’s and providing them with secure decarbonised energy at a reduced price for the next 20 years.

Hyosung Corporation is a South Korean industrial conglomerate, founded in 1966. It operates in various fields, including the chemical industry, industrial machinery, IT, trade, and construction.
