UK Anaerobic Digestion and Gas to Grid Plant

Team members at Padd Energy provided technical and commercial assistance to a client developing a farm waste digestion plant in the south of England. The plant incorporates digestion, biomethane upgrade and gas to grid injection equipment together with the associated civil, electrical, mechanical and automation infrastructure.

Our services include:

The plant is designed to make use of 60,000 tonnes of waste products produced on a farm site to generate renewable biomethane of a quality able to be injected into the local gas grid. In addition to the biomethane the process converts the residual waste to saleable products thereby avoiding disposal costs and improving the sustainability and carbon impact of the overall operation. The installation is sized to optimise revenue from the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
