The Royal United Hospitals Bath is an NHS Foundation Trust located in Bath, UK. The hospital provides acute treatment and care for around 500,000 people. The site has an existing CHP system providing heat to a site wide district heating network. The site’s Head of Estates, Brian Gubb, recognised the need to improve the performance of the CHP system whilst also mitigating increasing costs and technical issues associated with building cooling.
