Baddesley 10.5 MWe Waste to Energy Plant

Padd Energy are providing technical support to Kantor Energy in developing the long term operations and maintenance strategy for the Baddesley 10.5 MWe  refuse derived fuel (RDF) fired power plant in Warwickshire.

As Client Technical Advisors our services include:

The plant is designed to burn 100,000 tonnes per year of RDF, produced from commercial and industrial waste, using conventional grate firing technology generating electricity for export to the local grid network.

The plant is being constructed under a turnkey Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC) contract. Following completion, the installation will be handed over to an operating company. Padd Energy are assisting this company to develop its business case and strategic planning for long term operation.
