Padd Energy have been appointed by one of the Big 6 power companies to support its in-house design teams with the delivery of a state-of-the-art energy centre and associated district heating network for a UK university.
Our first task has been to write specifications to help standardise the various elements of the plant. This is followed by design works relating to pipe sizing for the different elements of the heat network.
Padd Energy has worked on a number of university schemes and we have strong expertise in the field of district heating.
One of our successful projects was as technical lead for a ground-breaking energy centre and residential district heating project in the South West of England to serve 1200 residential apartments.
We have advised large power suppliers on feasibility, strategy and design so are well placed to provide expert consultancy on this innovative scheme.
