Big 6 Power Company Appoints Padd for University Power Scheme

Padd Energy have been appointed by one of the Big 6 power companies to support its in-house design teams with the delivery of a state-of-the-art energy centre and associated district heating network for a UK university. Our first task has been to write specifications to help standardise the various elements of the plant. This is followed by design works relating to pipe sizing for the different elements of the heat network. New director joins Padd Energy board

Padd Energy is delighted to announce the appointment of Sam Irving as a Non-Executive Director on their board of directors to support the strategic growth of the business. Sam has worked for over 20 years in various strategic financial roles across  technology, support services and professional services including 12 years at BDO where as an M&A Director and among his 35+ deals he advised Stobart Group on its £50m+ investment with Allan Jenkinson to create Stobart Energy. Next phase begins at 4.8MW waste wood to energy plant

Padd Energy has been advising Hyosung Corporation on a new Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant in the Midlands for the last 18 months and we have recently been appointed to complete a number of further tasks as this exciting project progresses. The 4.8MW waste wood CHP plant has seen us work closely with the owners to meet their obligations around UK power plant legislation.
