Padd commissioned for 6MW biomass gasification plant

Padd Energy is currently working on a number of commissions for a London-based investment services group behind a 6MW biomass gasification plant. Biomass gasification is regarded as an important element of the UK’s strategy for achieving low-carbon targets. The biomass gasification process converts biomass fuel into syngas by reacting the material at high temperature, without combustion, with a controlled amount of oxygen. The syngas can be used to produce electricity and heat. Marking five years at Padd Energy

Padd Energy recently celebrated five years in business with a string of contract wins and plans to invest in our Yorkshire head office in readiness for growth. Since launching in 2003 we have enjoyed year on year growth in turnover and profits. Recent contract wins include a 4.8MW waste wood Combined Heat and Power plant and 6MW biomass gasification project.
